Invitation to the 27th International Conference “Tourism & Rural Space”

The National Agency for Mountain Areas, together with the Romanian Academy – Iași Branch, through the “Gh. Zane” Institute for Economic and Social Research, and the Center for Mountain Economy – CEMONT Vatra Dornei, invites you to attend the 27th edition of the international conference Tourism & Rural Space in National and International Context (TARS).

The event will take place between 29 and 31 May 2025, in a hybrid format: with on-site participation at the headquarters of the National Agency for Mountain Areas in Vatra Dornei, as well as online access for international participants and contributors. The conference brings together researchers, academics, experts, and policymakers in the fields of tourism, rural development, and mountain economy.

The programme includes scientific sessions, thematic workshops and a field visit to cultural and tourist sites in the Bucovina region.

We welcome your contributions to the ongoing dialogue on sustainable tourism and rural space development.
