A 19-A Conferință națională științifică și informală a Centrului de Economie Montană CE-MONT Vatra Dornei/INCE/Academia Română

National Scientific Conference with International Participation – July 24-25, 2025

On July 24-25, 2025, at the headquarters of the Mountain Economy Center (CE-MONT) in Vatra Dornei, the 19th National Scientific Conference with international participation was held, a traditional event aimed at understanding the socio-economic specificities and sustainable development of mountain communities in Romania and other mountain regions.

Final Message

The conference met the requirements of the Mountain Partnership (UN/FAO) and conveyed a message to increase the attention of governmental and political decision-makers in supporting efforts to preserve national and human values, traditions, and sustainable development adapted to the realities of mountain areas, with a focus on family farms, biodiversity conservation, and the use of renewable resources.
