“Viața Munților” is the information newspaper of the Centre for Mountain Economy (CE-MONT).
The publication is issued quarterly by the Centre for Mountain Economy (CE-MONT), part of the “Costin C. Kirițescu” National Institute for Economic Research of the Romanian Academy.
“Viața Munților” presents research, analyses, public policies, local initiatives and examples of good practice relevant to mountain areas in Romania and Europe. It is intended for mountain communities, researchers, public authorities, professional organisations and everyone interested in sustainable mountain development.
Topics include the mountain economy, mountain agriculture and products, rural development, tourism, natural resource protection, cultural heritage, climate change and European policies for mountain territories.

Issue 25 covers the 20th National Conference with International Participation organised by the Centre for Mountain Economy (CE-MONT), focusing on sustainable development and the resilience of mountain areas amid economic and environmental changes.
